Morgan State University has secured nearly $9m in federal funding to enhance its research capabilities in microelectronics and urban health. The funds will enhance the Center for Education and Research in Microelectronics and construct a new Molecular Biology Research Laboratory. These developments are expected to bolster Morgan State’s strategic goal of achieving Carnegie R1 classification, positioning the university as a leader in applied research and fostering collaborations with institutions like Johns Hopkins University.
